About Tanner Jacks

About Palo Mesa Pizza Tanner Jack's opened in May of 2006. Michael, Kelly and family moved out here from Michigan to help Jack open it and Michael has been the chef pretty much since day one. Michael and Kelly took over the managing the business on September 22 of 2008 after opening Palo Mesa Pizza in April of 2007 and then took complete ownership in April of 2008. In February of 2009 the new owners found out that they were pregnant. It was a very busy year! Today Tanner Jack's (in the Craig Center next to Palo Mesa Pizza) is known throughout the area for tasty food, generous portions and great service.

Michael and Kelly both grew up in restaurants. Jack and Michaels Godfather, Al had a couple restaurants and Kelly's Dad ran restaurants too. Over the years the Michael and Kelly have done every job possible in this business. Michael went to culinary school and is now a celebrated chef that is known in the industry for his creative side.

"We are a hard working family just like most of our customers. We work our restaurant and we want to know our customers. At the end of the day all that really matters is your family. Our staff is our family and we couldn't have done this without them. We want our customers to feel like part of our family when they walk into our restaurant, they are walking into our home."

Tanner Jack's was voted 2nd best beef by the CAB council for the entire state of California. Tanner Jack's makes in known through out the area for great appetizers, Homemade Barbecue Sauce, Signature Tri-Tip and award winning dishes. Tanner Jack's is open for dining in, pick-up, delivery and even catering.
